QUALITY VIOLIN FOR SALE!
Thinking about upgrading your musician’s violin? Now is the time! GBYO is auctioning off a high-quality violin to the highest bidder! The violin has been appraised by respected luthier Atelier Constantin Popescu for $10,000. (Appraisal certificate available upon request.)
Bidding starts at $6,000. GBYO will be the beneficiary of the sale so be generous in your bid! Proceeds will go toward scholarships; new instruments; concert expenses; and exciting new collaborations and performance opportunities.
The violin was made by Violinmaker John Juzek in 1942. It belonged to a former GBYO Concertmaster and has been donated to GBYO to conduct a fundraising auction.
This special violin will be available for viewing and trial with Mr. Hisey on March 10 at 12 noon in the band room. Hear and play the violin before you bid. You won’t be disappointed by the look, feel and sound!

A bid is considered a binding contract to pay for the violin. Once a bid is submitted, that amount is final and non-negotiable. The winner of the auction is obligated to pay GBYO the amount bid.
